Is ROM really fast?

Is ROM really fast?

Postby Calvin » Nov 24, 2003 @ 2:19am

I'm buying a Asus A620BT this week and I wonder if I can install my programs on the 32MB of free ROM and leave the 56MB of RAM free without losing much performance? I think that the ROM is kind of slow to be used by the programs insteat of storage but I might be wrong.

I would like to hear about ROM perfomance because my previous PDA was a Asus A600 which just had RAM and no ROM for the user.

Are you sure the 620 has 32MB of FREE ROM? I really don't know myself. In theory you should get a speed increase though.
