That is something we would have liked to know earlier. I remember the standard a620's were delayed by Asus so I asked you if Asus could ship it direct, so you'd get it about a week faster. Asus offered the shipping to Canada because they had not expected the delay and wanted to make us and you, the cusomter happy. That was the only time Asus ever made that type of shipment and said they wouldn't do it again.
I'm sorry for the fees you encountered, we used to ship FedEx, we've just recently switched to UPS because of the hit and miss fees that FedEx was charging our customers. Asus only ships UPS and it looks like we should not ship UPS ourselves outside of the US.
I did not fill out any paperwork for Asus, obviously, but although the paperwork was not filled out, I know that the issue could still be fought, even if you have paid the bill because your package did fall under the guidelines of NAFTA........
