Music Format?

I've run across this myself (the tuning issue)...

It seems like the fine tune works, but the transpose option of the instrument doesn't. But I think you can still get it to sound right by transposing in the actual pattern.

Also, on the problem of only having 4 tracks, don't forget that you can switch instruments inside each track. You can squeeze a lot in there...

Download some songs from for some good examples.

I have updated my web site and I have added to the downloads page Hekkus v. 0.98.0 and v. 0.98.5.b2. The first is basically v. 0.98.rc1 renamed because no one have reported bugs.
The new beta adds some new features like MOD support with up to 32 channels. All my betas are tested on my own projects and should be stable enough to a game release. Of course if you use it and find a bug contact me

I have changed the license terms, now hekkus is donate-ware. I don't want to make Hekkus a commercial library but if I can earn some money from this library I can continue the development on ppc and other platforms (all this little toys costs an eye, you know!).

More on the new license terms on my website, but don't worry there isn't nothing that should make screaming someone
