I think the console market is different. Can you name the companies that made the last 5 console games you bought? I can't. Last 5 PC games? Very easily. Fanboys are much more prevelant too. On the PC market, some games are basically guaranteed hits or misses based on their name - Valusoft, Blizzard, id, Valve, Irrational Games, etc.

That's exactly why I want my first title to be nice before releasing it. I don't want to be known as a purveyor of mediocre (or worse) titles.
