Glad more people found it as strange as I (and a friend) did. I thought I'd missed something.

A non-programmer comes up with a concept, wins, and they give them XForge or 4 licenses to 3d Studio and say "ok, go make it"? Mmmkay. Or a programmer does it and gets given XForge in return... mmmkay.

I'd shoot for 4th place and the $10K in cash... That'd help my development a lot more than that other stuff.

If your game concept is selected they give you all the tools (x-forge, 3DS, etc) for the limited time of the contest

You have about 4 month to make the game, and then you are awarded something (or nothing if you are not in the top 4).

I don't think you get 2x X-Forge licence if you're the first...
