Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Almost 2 years ago I told you guys that you needed to be measuring raw memory bandwidth when comparing these devices instead of these goofy benchmarks that measure things like text and line drawing. This is because every game will be more affected by memory bandwidth than any other factor on the PocketPC devices that have shipped to date.

In all of the devices that I've been able to test with my benchmark routines, the ASUS620 family smokes everything else. Since I don't run PocketQuake or any of these emulators, perhaps some of you that do can tell me how the ASUS620 stacks up in those benchmark scenarios. I'd be surprised if it wasn't near the top of the list.

Futuremark is developing a benchmark suite for Symbian-based smartphones. More here:
