I'd go for the "connection" too. A while ago you sounded like you were wife-hunting rather than looking specifically for a (merely) physical relationship... so that's the obvious choice, isn't it?

It's certainly what I'd look for, anyway... and found

- we're off into London on Saturday - shopping for the wedding rings, the wretched gift-list, and something decent for me to wear (which will be a problem).

Unless you're willing to forsake your morals, what would be the point of having the girl to whom you only have a physical attraction? Sounds like a good place to start sinning. Still, physical attraction is at the core of most relationships.

I'm abstinent, so it's not like physical as in sexual. I would have made that distinction. Physical meaning we mainly cuddle and I love having her there. The other one has in the past been mainly intellectual, meaning we can talk well and she can read me and I can read her so we don't even have to talk.
