PPC .NET puzzle game to try

Postby Pejo Software - Per » Mar 5, 2004 @ 10:57pm

This is my kind of game, works great on my iPAQ 2210!
It was much easier when using the brown tiles.
Did you come up with this idea yourself or is it based on something?

One thing that maybe could be done differently is that it takes quite some time before the tiles has fallen and you can start to move again. Perhaps the tiles should fall all at once or you could enable movement before the new tiles has fallen into place.

$12 for a puzzle game? Hate to see what the price is when the promotional period ends.

Size of NET CF redistributable

Postby CactusFactory » Mar 9, 2004 @ 1:48pm

Hi,
Allow me to make more exact information about NETCF size - it's not necessary to download full CF package for all processors. You can download, for example from Handango or from somewhere else, ARM-specific package which "takes" only 2 Mb. It's all you need for PocketPC 2002.

Best regards

nCircle game idea

Postby whiteangle » Mar 11, 2004 @ 7:27am

Pejo software,

The tile flipping and looping game idea is unlike anything we've seen anywhere. Obviously there are a lot of tile based games, and games that incorporate falling times, but not quite like this...

We originally wanted the game to be about creating shapes but it was hard to incorporate that into something that had compolling gameplay.

The wait for tiles to drop is sometimes a while, but you know you've done something good, the longer it takes, and it is quite fun to watch it all happen. It also gives you time to plan your next move.

Thanks for the feedback.
