Asus A716 - White Text in Start Menu

Asus A716 - White Text in Start Menu

Postby dragonhand » Mar 16, 2004 @ 3:46pm

Notwithstanding the battery concerns which are being explored in another thread, the new A716 is quite a machine. Setting it up made me think of my old e740 as a PDA on training wheels.

Turning to my issue - white text on the start menu - does anyone else have white text? It makes using the start menu next to impossible when there is a light colored theme on the Today screen. I've read on some other forums that this has happened with some IPAQs and that it may be a WM 2003 characteristic. I'm wondering if some setting in my A716 got changed or if it is a generic problem.

Does anyone have a fix to turn the white text back to black? Perhaps a registry change?
