Like you said ProPortable sells the devices, if you want hardcore hardware info then contact the manufacturer (in this case ). I'm sure they'd be able to provide you with all the answers you need.

wel just to let you know Asus could not answer the question. My name,e-mail and number were taken and they said they would call or email when they had the info. thats why i have been asking so much because the only way to know is to take the thing and try and pair it with the nokia 6820. well i will stop asking, but to date this is the only question i have never got answered.

I know this may not be the response you were wanting but the only thing it sounds like you could do is send your cell phone off to someone who is willing to test it out for you......but that leaves you without a cell phone. I am surprised though that it is not backwards compatiable with older BT cuz a lot of usb 2.0 devices are backwards compatiable with 1.1....1.1 usb much slower yes but atleast it is an option and it is faster than serial
