Pocket Hack Master Demo Version

Pocket Hack Master Demo Version

Postby RChickenMan » May 3, 2004 @ 9:20pm

So I am looking for an overclocking utility to give my a620 a bit of a push when playing games which are borderline playable, such as donkey kong 3. I tried PHM because it would appear to be the only utility that supports 530 MHz. However, I cannot access the settings which make it optimal for use with pxa255 processors. Is this a limitation of the demo? I would really like to make sure that overclocking provides enough of an edge befor I actually purchase a product. Can someone recommend a utility which would allow me to overclock to 530 mhz, and increase the bus speeds such as what phm can do?

I thought that there isnt a demo version for xcpuscalar? Like I said, I want to make sure that overclocking on the a620 is actually worth it befor I purchase software. Which is, I thought, the purpose of a demo.

Overclocking the Asus to 530 or 475 will get any snes game to run smooth. I have never ever had a problems overclocking. Although my old 620 refused to overclock. So you probably should get he PHM demo try it out and if overclocking suits you get XCPUscalar.

Right, I DO have the PHM demo, BUT, it will not allow me to access the settings which are optimized for the pxa255!!! So i really can't effectively overclock with the demo version.
