For those using Virtualdub and getting audio sync problems, the solution is to save the audio out to a wav file first and then encode your movie with the video from the source file and the wav file you created.

Works for me a treat - perfectly synced audio every time.

I found that trying to acheive a higher compression by reducing the frame rate also throws the synch out with virtual dub...
