Pocket Frog website

Pocket Frog website

Postby seb0uille » Jun 12, 2004 @ 12:32pm

Hi all,

I've been working with gapidraw for several months and i'd like to switch to PocketProg.
But the droneship website doesn't seems up-todate... And the fzammetti's pages disappeared :(
I also thought the latest version was 0.7, although only 0.6 is available on the official web site.
Can any one tell me where I can find useful material to start developping with Pocket Frog ? Thanks.

The latest version is 0.7.0
Download it here:-

(I will update my PocketFrog Pages to point to this tomorrow if I get time)
My resources are here:-

Read the recent thread about Dell Axim bug as it explains how to fix the suspend/resume bug recently found.

Important: The 0.7.0 download should work fine without you having to do much however if you do want to build the PocketFrog library yourself to fix the bug mentioned you need to select the correct project to build the pocketfrog.lib

You are bound to have other questions so post away but remember that a search will answer many of them.

ps: I use the same source to build for PC & PPC using VC6 & EVC3++ to save time as it's easy to do.

Conan: thanks ;-)

I'm testing Pocketfrog and I have some questions about.

1.- In desktop version (winXP) PF can use FULL SCREEN?
2.- PF can use any resolution different to 320x240 or 240x320 ? (by ex. 640x480)
3.- PF in window mode (desktop WinXP) is possible move the window to center screen? (when start, the window of the PF not have the same position never).
4.- PF will be new version?.

Please sorry by my very bad english.

Regards. ;-)

On the desktop with the latest version 0.7.0 you can use the desktop zoom to make the window bigger (so the image is stretched to the new dimensions, not a higher pixel resolution).

You can use different resolutions (see the SmarthPhone build of PF which does this)

I assume the XP window position is as defined in the PocketFrog source so you need to look in the library source for this.

Will there be a new version of PF? I don;t know as I'm not the author. I'm hoping there will be a PF / PocketHal version.
