The PS2 pad is a nice idea, and I'm sure many people will want it... but I'm afraid personally I don't find it practical. I'm probably not hardcore enough :? Nice work though.

If anyone were to ever make snap-on solutions like the qpad or the benq one, but for other ppcs than the ipaq, I'd definitely be interested.

Has anyone tried using those snap-on keyboards for gaming? I suppose they're a bit too fiddly...
Something like this but with a gaming dpad & buttons in the top half instead of numbers would be a great all in 1 solution:

I just wanted to add a note of support. This will be a tremendous solution for a lot of PPC-decision-worries. I'm intensly curious about your connectivity method--how you manage a cost-effective way to interface with different brands of PPCs.

If it were me, which it isn't, I would've made it using a AAA-powered IR recessed within a small, adjustable "clip" that can "hold on" to whatever side of the PPC bears the port. Surface-less play could be managed via a simple "cradle" solution that grasps ahold of the back-side of a standard PSX controller, and includes a curved "shelf" extending below the controller to hold the surplus wire length.

But that's just me. :P

I'm glad to hear about summer release is still on track, I was fearing that it may be delayed since not much info was seen around.
I hope you can make madcatz controllers to work, I'm looking to try the thing with one, though if it's not possible, any other controller should be fine (but not so cool though)

Really with this, with such an inmense library of games that can be played through emulation, who needs PSP at all :p Even this opens more viability for a N64 emulator in the near future if its controller can be adapted too
