Yeah the d-pad really is rather pleasant, in my opinion the best out of any of the PDA's I have owned thus far. I typically don't play fighting games. My favorite games are all of the mario games for nes and snes, and all of the donkey kong country games for snes. Well if you consider Mike Tyson's Punch Out a 2d fighting game, then yeah, I freaking LOVE that game. As far as SNES goes, the only two games I have found to be unplayable are Yoshi's Island, and Mario Kart. However, these two games are unplayable on the X30 as well, so I wouldn't count that as a negative for the HP. All other SNES games run smooth, yet for some games I do recommend you overclock to 472 MHz. As far as Genesis goes, the only game I have tried is Sonic 2. Unfortunately, it was unplayable.
