Well, it was Apr 27, 2004 that I first made this thread. It's now July 4 and my PDA has come back from Asus tech support. That's over two months. After about a month had pass I contacted them to see if this was a normal amount of time despite him saying it would be a "quick turn-around fix." He replied "We didn't know what was wrong with it." Didn't know what was wrong with it? Well, just like the RMA requested, I typed up a paragraph explaining the problem in detail, things I've tried to fix it, even a method that has been known to work though would required voiding the warranty. That paper was sent along with the PDA. I didn't get a single contact after that, and about a month later i saw it on my doorstep fixed. I hope it's not obsolete now
