4155 Multiple Button Issue

4155 Multiple Button Issue

Postby gsc » Jul 8, 2004 @ 2:09pm

Hello,

I am curious whether or not anyone else has experienced this. With my 4155, if I hit the Calendar, Left-dpad, and Dpad Center Button all at once it launches the "Align Screen" utility! This happens when Im playing games but I can do it from any application and it still does it.

Does this happen to anyone else with a 4155 or just me? I have unbinded all my hardware buttons and it still happens - any workarounds?

Wow... how bout that, just tried it on my ipaq. I sure am glad that it isnt center d-pad plus one of the buttons to the right of the d-pad, or else i would be screwed. As it is, the calendar button is mapped as my start button in both of the emulators i use, so it is certainly not an issue.

It doesn't matter if it's mapped in games, it's above even GAPI.

I know. What I am saying is that because the calendar button is mapped to the start button, I most likely will never accidentally press those two buttons at the same time during game play.

Unfortunately Im most comfortable using the left side buttons, guess its time for a change.

Or a registry hack to disable it

You won't be able to disable it via the registry, you're just going to have to live with it.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
