How did you receive it? was it straight from Asus - just simply a prototype? did asus get FCC approval without it coming across the FCC web-site?

also - is proportable the fastest way to get it? do they have a good track record for distributing new products? I know Expansys and other 'pre-order' sites are sometimes the slowest way to getting new products.

Matt, I wouldn't worry about getting some FPSEce FPS stats if it takes longer to release the review (like you would get some anyway

) cause normally I've found the PQ benches to be faithful enough to their percentage of performance in comparison to that of other machine's which you can use to figure out the FPS you would probably get in FPSEce. I mean, most of you can do VERY BASIC (percentage calculation) math right?

just a thought matt - if we're going to have to wait longer for the a730 shipment, please let us in on some of the 'hands on' viewpoints you've developed since it arrived. the suspense is killing me! (or leading me to the hx4700)
