Accepting PSX adapter Beta Testers

The MadCatz controller problem has been resolved.

The couple beta testers that have already been accepted will have their prototypes sent out in the next couple days.

I will begin reviewing the beta applications and choose 4-5 additional testers in the next few days as time allows.

It is still not too late to apply. If you do wish to apply, please jump to the first page of this thread and note the requirements (PayPal, etc).

As someone speculated earlier in this thread, the adapter is IrDA based. Thus this one interface works with every PPC in existance. It works flawlessly with both my a716 and my 4 year old iPaq 3630.

The adapter can also be used notebook or desktop computers with IrDA (once I throw together the driver). I could also produce drivers for SmartPhone, H/PC, Palm OS, etc, if there is a demand.

I'm doing the development with an a716 and a MadCatz controller, so you can be sure that combination works perfectly.

Since the device will be irda based, how do you handle the multiple positions of the irda port on pocketpc's. For example, my old ipaq 3955 had the irda port on top middle, now my 4155 has the irda port on the bottom left side.
