abster -

Why don't you trust someone who knows what they are talking about. If you want to know MyPal's, ask me, please.

I'm the one who told brighthand and pocketmatrix the unit isn't SDIO and that was handed down to me directly from the Asus Gods.... top of the chain... SDIO - No Go....

MP doesn't know jack about this device.

Justin:

Is that a disadvantage not having SDIO ? what problems we may encounter because of that ?

Also I want to ask you something if you may allow...
its said to be 55mb of the RAM is accessible, what about the RAM?
I havent used any PDA, so whats this RAM and ROM for ?
If we think the HP`s PDA, it has 64RAM/32ROM, thats very crucial and bad for HP and why HP still dont focuses on this issue ?

Thank you so much.

SDIO in dual wireless and dual slot device has got to be the most useless feature one can imagine right now.

It's like having 6 toes on feet. It's neat, but who cares.

A716

Postby bill » Mar 24, 2004 @ 6:53am

:D , Your review of the A716 was very complete, and I found it all
to be true!!!

I love my Asus A716 already. I had the HP548 or the last three years. I
even bought a used model to replace my old one. I've been waiting for
the intergation of WiFi, Bluetooth, CF, SD, and speed. A716 delivers!!!

One thing I have found is that "Gigabit", which I love also, does not
work well. However, the A716 has such a user friendly interface,
I don't see this as a major issue.

I purchased "Themedream" and have all the screen "Themes" I need.

I've only had the A716 2 days, so now I am looking into accesseries.
Mainly "road trip" necessities.

Nice forum and format.
