I agree, this emulator is much faster than BE, and my 5455 has the same chip as the 3950 so I know what you are talking about. But, while emulating the 68000 chip can be CPU intensive, emulating the SNES in my opinion, is still more processor hungry than Genesis emulation.

So many chips to emulate, but the Genesis was more simple. I am just really happy to see this emulator prove that the Genesis is probably the best console for emulation on the current generation of PPCs. But that is just my opinion, I know others might think different.

TWFSC was faster than BE but it also didn't support many of the advanced functions. Once Sukon added more to the emulator, it slowed down dramatically. People don't download his last version, they go with the earlier one. But like said, it was very buggy.

By the time you got your E800, Aaron added some customizations to SNES in Morphgear, and I swear some of those customizations came from BE (search the Morphgear forum, he mentions adding Bleeding Edge hacks to the SNES core). I am pretty sure that the Morphgear version wouldn't be were it is today with the work done on Bleeding Edge. I am just giving credit where credit is due.
