Multiplayer in 2.0

Yeah, this is pretty upsetting. It seems I can connect on my local network just fine, but anything connecting to the server just gets screwed up.

I'll have a go with Peter about this.. again. >:(

I just met up with JuJuB.

We tried the same things that I tried with HockeyDude. WiFi and cradle connections fail regardless of who sets the game up.

This time I got a "Waiting for Connection" screen when trying to connect to his game through the cradle. I don't think that I had seen it before. The end result was the same as always though I got kicked out of the Snails program after about 30 seconds. This is the same behavior that he saw when he tried to connect to my games through either connection.

When I tried to connect to his game over wireless, the multiplayer game screen would pause for a second and the go right back to raining down stars. It never appeared to try to connect and it never kicked me out.

Both of us disabled our Firewalls.

I'm thinking the problem with Internet Multiplayer Snails isn't that there is never anyone online to play. It's that it simply doesn't work so why would there be?
