No, no need to explain a third time (not for me anyways, it was clear to me the first time). I think you have a point, although I'm not sure whether it's driven by the people with the largest financial influence or by the media. But you'll probably come back saying that the media is driven by the people with the largest financial influence anyways =]

About the start post, imo tax cuts basicly have two reasons. They make the person doing the tax cuts more popular. In short term that is, in long term the people might actually figure out they got worse off, but hey, by then the elections will be over anyways. It also makes the rich even richer, now I have nothing against people being rich, but it tends to go over the backs of the less fortunate.
