Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Name: Aleksey Bagrov
Model: A620R
Date of Purchase: April 2004

I have bought A620 this spring and I?m very happy of my choice. On my mind this is the best low-price Pocket PC. Enormous battery size, really fast speed of games and programs. Isn?t this model among the best? ASUS must approve the status of its product.
The usual internet browser of WM 2003 has one huge limit on everything, it is too simple. I want better IE (as I think there must be changes to better in second edition), and in the same time I don?t want to use some handy-make browsers which have a lot of bugs, and standards limitations.
I was very surprised, when I first time use Pocket PC, before I had believed that there is landscape mode somewhere in the settings...
Also I want more stability during working. It is sometimes happening that the operation system become freeze and I have to reset, while having some unsaved work.

I know two persons, who want to buy a Pocket PC. Both of them think of choosing A620 or H1945. They would prefer A620, I?m absolutely convinced, if ASUS makes the update. Taking into account Hewlett-Packard passive actions. The Pocket PC industry here in Russia is progressing very fast now, and ASUS could win the trade competition in this far cold big country even with making some small update?

Update for A716

Postby PDA-Doc » Aug 3, 2004 @ 9:24pm

So are there any news regarding said update for the A716? I'd be quite keen on using the Landscape mode. IIRC the update was scheduled for "Mid-July".. this has passed since a while now - with no apparent development. Am I correct here, or am I just missing something?
