I Agree.

Postby Sage » Aug 21, 2004 @ 11:14pm

...close this useless thread. This place will never be what it used to be. It has been reduced to one huge Asus pop-up and it's unfortunate. Btw, I don't have to 'defend' either of my purchases because it clearly states in my sig that i own BOTH of these machines(Asus & Dell). And, modestly speaking, it's well within my resource capacity to get two more if I wanted to. I could clearly care less in all honesty which machine will 'pee the farthest' because my life does not center around either gadget frankly.

However, If we are going to be meticulous about this issue though, then the true winner for playing games and multimedia on an excellent quality screen will be the Sony PSP. As it will be technically superior to everything here and most things coming down the pipeline relevant to this community thus rendering all of our ppc's 'irrelevant' in this area of functionality. You can best believe there will be little debate at that time which machine will gain the dominance and the prominence when the Sony marketing machine is plugged in and activated. But, I digress.

If you look a little closer then you will see that the true spirit behind my replies actually has very little to do with the X30 or the A730. My comments are aimed squarely at the integrity and deterioration thereof of this forum. Somehow, along the path of explorative science it seems to have gotten 'lost' and sold it's soul to Asus along the way. Im trying really hard not to use the term 'fanboy' this time around because it's starting to become cliche in this thread. But, I can confidently say that at this point that ALOT of you are in denial about the a730. A month or so from now when this thing is actually released, i hope it will be everything that you need it be to make your lives more complete.(somehow i doubt this will be the case though.)lol.

And in reference to why me and the many people who silently share my views persist on coming here, all i can is....You wish.

We are here because we were actually here first.
You can tell by our need for speed, eye for quality, disdain for 'hype', and slightly higher than average IQs. We ask intelligent questions and pose stimulating challenges to those amongst us without resorting to insults, threats, flaming, trolling and general ignorance. Speaking of which, Sponge, You calling someone an idiot is truly the pot calling the entire KITCHEN black. As you have proven both your intelligence and ignorance at a level for all to clearly see during your tenure here. You are like the class clown. We luv ya, and you make us laugh sometimes, but at the end of the day you're still just a clown. Anyways, I hope one day that this community will return to the evolving and exciting forum that it used to be. We used to treat PPC performance almost like an exploratory science and we actually applauded a machine that performed well regardless of whose name was branded on the cover. Now, we are just a community Waiting for Asus to Exhale. Stunted in our own growth right at the apex of what should be resounding evolution with all of these new machines from other manufacturers on the horizon. This forum has been hit with a sad affliction, retardation. (I see u laughing.) But, it just means that we have failed to evolve and grow. But, we are not incurable. The many of us who may silently share this view with me will eventually prevail as ignorance and greed are very shallow creatures.

Long Live Advancement.

X30 High & A620bt Owner
...and future a730 owner but only if it proves to actually

PERFORM.

btw please feel free to correct any obvious typos(Spiral).
As this saves me the time of having to use a spell check.
And, time is a precious commodity these days. More importantly,

Don't miss the message behind the message.

Have a Blessed Day!
Sage
