I dunno offhand but many reviews of PPC's do benchmark results. Try a search for X30 Low reviews.

Dunno. Maybe that's all they owned? Bought it second-hand refurbished? Couldn't afford an expensive one so bought the Dell since it is so affordable? No clue other than ask them.

I have been told that the X30 312 MHz is faster than the X3 400 MHz.

well the pdabuyer's guide says no to that in every way.
