eVC++

Hi all,

I would like to start developing for PocketPC, and after reading through many posts on this forum, I have come to the conclusion that I should use embededVC++.

But where can eVC++ be downloaded? Or is it not free? I have searched the Microsoft page, and I can only fint the .NET-version. And I don't want my programs to need the .NET-framework to work.

So where can I find (and older version of) eVC++ for download?

Meanwhile, I found eVC++ 4 and am downloading that. It seems to be what I am after.

My goal is to make applications that work both with PocketPC2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. I hope that eVC++4 will allow that.

Don't have any problems with programs on my Mobile PocketPC done under EVC++ 3. EVC++ 4 is what you are supposed to use it will work.

Well, I just downloaded it (250 MB) and started the install, and it asks me for a Serial number? I thought it was free.

The serial number is at the bottom of the web page where you downloaded EVC. Just go back to the download page and you will find it.
