Well, he has changed his mind after 9/11 based on advice similar to that in the article I posted on the forum and, what's more important, has been very consistent since then.
In any case, given the available alternatives, Bush is the definition of a principled politician.
I haven't been following Kerry before he got the nomination but watching the last 6 months one simply cannot escape feeling that his positions are basically designed to be opposite of wherever Bush is at.
I don't believe Kerry is that stupid but I think he lacks political smarts typical of people and is getting some truly shitty advice ...
