That retrocon is neat, but remember that Dan wants to keep it under $35; he's probably only paying $5 a pad right now for the regular Madkat/Sony ones. If he had to buy a $20 pad, it would cost a lot more, not to mention a slightly modified version of the PDA mounting hardware. If he did it, he would probably have to charge more for it, like $50-60 or so.

Manufacturing for the enclosures for the adapter will begin in late September. I hope to start shipping the devices shortly thereafter - perhaps by the end of September, but possibly early October.

I will be posting pictures of the adapter in the near future - within a week or two. I will begin accepting pre-orders late September, probably 2 weeks before the devices will ship.
