[Totally unrelated] Brig: you seem to know your way around the economy quite a bit, so here is a quick question: At what time will the jobs report be released tomorrow?

The .pdf linked to at the top of that page is interesting. I seem to see a fairly consistent trend in the overall tax rate in America. What is going to stop that? So near as I can tell (just eyeballing my contemporaries, no data), the "I'm a stupid sack of shit looking for a gov. handout" mentality is only getting more popular in America.

It is not about taxes but about certain mindset.

Technically, it woudn't be that difficult reform French or German systems but it won't happen simply because people are so used to the notion that they deserve all these perks, that any sort of action aimed at reducing their dependability on the government results in a near revolt.
