I think a PDA flash drive would be cool for what you want. A small program could change profiles for each machine. etc.. but I haven't heard of one. :( For starters the machine would have to lie in plug and play.

But if all you want is to use your CF card through USB and no hassle. Nearly all the multiple card readers are supported in XP plug and play without you having to install drivers. Cheap 9 GBP, 60% the size of a PDA, weigh about nothing. Obviously you have to manually exchange between card reader and PDA if you want to change any data.

Getting a PDA to act like a flash drive, screams BIOS to me. It's a great idea.

The card may be too big for your camera. However I'm guessing you could sell the 4GB drive on ebay and make a profit.

I think the PocketPC needs to do everything it can do to get sales. With so many toys out there.

For example Vosonic V-MP3H Digital Data Player

toys like that are cool as they come with upto 60GB hard drives probably do plug in as a flash.

I'd like a PocketPC to dominate the market with specs like. :dream:

Cloak as a USB mass storage device. No Acti-Sync!!!
To have VGA(truebit). 2700G5
DirectX.
60GB drive.
Keyboard.
Wireless co-ordination of everything, bluetooth or 802.11 gear I am carrying.
Pressure sensitive stylus.

Okay that'll do for a bit. Judging by what is available it doesn't have to be bulky.

Nah, the card isn't to big. My camera supports FAT32 for sizes > 2gb. If you look around on the net, you'll find that Creative, due to pressure from Hitachi I assume, somehow locked the drive in ATA mode. Basically it works 100% inside the Muvo2 or even in a computer. But throw it into something like a camera where it wants it in Memory mode, and it pukes all over it. I am not sure if a PDA will take it or not, I can only hope. But I went out and purchased a 2.2gb MD for $100 anyways, so I can always use that.
