I really started to get bored with my Axim over the summer and hardly ever used it. Now that school started, I use it more often. Still not as much, but enough to make it worth having. I probably will not buy another PPC.....I have to save now for a Laptop......my high school now allows people to use them in pretty much any class, which is pretty nice.

PPC doesn't have DivX either, without a 3rd party app, which the Zodiac has.

Well, as a little twist, I'll help you do most of the research.

I believe this is the best video player for the Palm:


And these two in conjunction with WMP9 are the best video players for the PPC:



Now if you were to compare that of the Palm with those of the PPC, I believe you'll find the Palm's player lacking in what the PPC's players are not.

MMPlayer bites for bitrates. MMPlayer can't really handle on the Zodiac, more than 300-500 kbps. On the other hand, pretty much any ppc can play around 700+, and the e800 can manage 1.5 mbps of VGA wide screen.

How many even use more than 500kbps normally? I don't even use that for VCD-quality videos on my desktop, and visual artifacts piss me off. Even then, at least with PocketMVP anymore than 400kbps and I'd get dropped frames with my 3955, which is the everyday ppc in terms of speed.

Registered: That's great, 3 media players on the PocketPC compared to the Zodiac's 1 and a half. There are a billion and a half shitty PalmOS 4 and under games, does that mean Palm is better for gaming?
