Playing mp3s

Playing mp3s

Postby fullerlee » Dec 14, 2001 @ 1:40pm

What's the best mp3 player for PPC (MIPS specifically)?
The main things I require are longest possible battery life, and a random play function. Windows media player 7 seems quite good, but I couldn't find a screen blank option which I think would help on battery life.
Thanks

...or if Windows Media Player 7 doesn't have a facility to turn off the screen (which surely must be the highest drain on the power) then are there any 3rd party utils to turn off the screen but still leave the PPC turned on and mp3 playing?

ta

In WMP go to tools at the bottom, then settings, then click Buttons. I use the screen toggle function like everyday, it really helps battery life.

Matt tries to act smart. Give him some credit!

No, just a guest. I'm trying my darnedest to keep above the squabble that litters these forums. Deleting my account was a means to an end, aside from some other temporary disagreements I had with Matt.
damn, I need a girlfriend.
