Refactor is a word that is commonly used when working with the development method extreme programming (). Refactoring is explained here: .
Altough this word might not be in an official dictionary it is nevertheless a word used in software development. So in order to optimize the code some refactoring might be needed!

Are you guys saying that the binaries should be identical before/after refactoring? Because even if you simply move a function from one translation unit to another it could affect the performance (behavior)of the application.

What's the difference between code cleanup and refactoring then?

If the refactoring was non-trivial then it would have to impact performance one way or another. I would assume we are talking about more than just beautifying code here.

Thank you a lot for a wonderful arcade! It's gameplay is much better than in Sky Force: there are much more interesting bonuses and upgrades and bosses with their HP shown is a very good thing indeed :D
By the way i had no troubles with sound on my HP iPAQ 2210.
P.s. and thank you for stilus input - my joystick is totally dead...
