Porting to Linux PDAs is an absolute waste of time. Sharp's Zaurus was a massive North American failure. Even if PalmOS switches to Linux, they're going to strive for backwards compatibility. Other than that, *no* mass-market PDA runs Linux.

BIGBEN: I'd try for a Smartphone port first once it's all ready - it should be a much simpler affair than Palm or Symbian (though not that big of a market from what I gather, which isn't much)

a) I just want to be able to play PYROMANIA without being forced to buy a hand-held device, I'm not that rich.

Go talk with Google, then. I cannot give you that sort of stuff since I don't have (w), and everything I could offer would be taken outta there.
For me the necesity to prove that fact again and again seems as strange, as to prove that the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West. Everybody knows it, but to prove that one should go to an observatory or somewhere else. Would you do that if one asks you to prove it?
