It's an honest mistake: Chinese and Japanese use the same characters most of the time. In this case Asus is of Chinese origin and so are the characters on the box.

Blur, I feel the same way. Something about asian (can even be Korean) characters on electronics make me feel like it's even more special.

No it doesn't come with a headset.... I don't know why you would expect one... are these something new that are coming with pocket pcs now?
