For the full set of features I was thinking of going with the 716. I also noticed that some PPCs seem to have landscape/portrait while others don't? I'm curious, does landscape (for those devices taht seem to have it), does it put the D-Pad on the left or right side of the PPC? I'm used to game controllers, so it'd feel more comfortable with the D-Pad on the left while viewing landscape. While I'm at it, do many games support landscap?

Let's see what other questions..

For full features, the Dell x50 mid (not v, the vga stuff is way out of my price range by about ~$100) seems to be the better deal. Comes with everything and is only about $340 right now on dell.com. The Asus 716 on the other hand is near $400, and also has a slightly slower CPU speed. The Dell also has 64 MB more of ROM Memory. However, the D-Pad and buttons looke better placed for gaming on the Asus (what were they thinking with the new version? Looks more like Dell now), but I heard the PPC itself was large. Is size a big thing? How does Dells D-Pad hold up?

In all honesty, if I can play games in landscape with the D-Pad on the left, I can't see how the D-Pad would be too big of a deal either way. Of course I've never played a PPC game before, so I don't know how the controls are either way.

I guess the best way to go about this would be to ask what PPC everyone is currently using, and how they like it. :)
