I don't think it looks cool, I just see no need to have it there, only to watch it redraw and lag the hell out of my computers after minimizing several RAM intensive programs (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FireFox, and IE - and this is without the extra fluff) My main point is that it doesn't make me aesthetically challenged because I have things simple. Who the hell decides what's aesthetically pleasing or not-- the same people who run the fashion police?
Backgrounds I'll conceed, however those stupid XP themes that just take up more space and beyond is where I'll never change. That's one thing I love about Mac OS - basically borderless windows, especially in the browser.
By all the other widgets I meant all those shell enhancement things that add 5 different clocks, weather of your town, and some Middle Eastern city, and constant up to the minute news about Eninem.
The ones here aren't even as bad as I've seen - it seems some people are physically bothered about the fact something is left default.
