Great to hear. Now the game is practly fully playable. Now if only the speed could be brought up (the cycles are 3X as fast on my home pc) but other than that this is too sweet.

Which PocketPC you're using (is it vga or qvga) and how much free memory do you have? You should be able to run the game by simply clicking on the appropriate stratagus.exe file.

i have tried it on my vga device and it freezed
i have to soft reset it
does this exe works only on qvga device ?

the qvga version works fine.......really enjoying finally being able to play warcraft wherever the hell i want.....kudos to the guys that did this

iv been using the special QVGA edition and noticed a couple of things. I emailed the developer n0p about them im wondering if others have experienced similar issues.

i translated the campaigns to English. this works great.

i run into some problems though after i translate the sounds. the game works fine. However when i try to load a saved game i crash and get booted back to the desktop. (if you can call it that )

if i load the game with the Russian sounds i have no problems. Here’s where it gets even weirder.

the first 4 levels of the campaigns load with no problems. the other levels and single player custom games won't load. Unless of course i use Russian sounds.

All these games always load into the desktop version of stratagus

I gave my device a hard reset and formatted my cards to make sure this wasn’t causing the issue.

anyone else noticing this?

also the new QVGA version plays very very well

@chad : you dont need you war2 cd to play only if you want to translate the campaigns and sounds to English
