I know there's an issue with the Windows Mobile OS about assigning relatively small chunks of memory. Try playing immediately after a soft reset, and also try removing all the items on your Today screen to see if it makes a difference.
Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Wow, the latest QVGA version works very well so far. I'll do some more testing later tonight (gotta go back to work, which sucks on a warm sunny day like today here in montreal :-) I wish I could spend the day in a park playing stratagus on my PPC he he:-)

It's very nice of n0p to bring us this game to our PPCs. I'm very greatful to him, hope he keeps up the good work! Very nice..

I have a question: in the readme file he specifies how much memory the game needs with the sounds enabled, etc.. But I think once the game uncompresses and loads all the sounds in memory, the program will need more memory then the size of the compressed files on the disk, no?
Regards,
Harry.

Ipaq 3650

Postby Dankid31 » May 11, 2005 @ 2:31am

This was DEFINITELY not made to run on an iPAQ 3650. It won't even start. (I already tried EVERYTHING you posted earlier.) I have nothing on it. I allocated all free memory to "program" and TAPPED stratagus.exe from file explorer  Still nothing happens. Is memory the only issue or not? My ipaq is running ppc 2002. isn't there also a memory issue with 2002?
