>>To get the campaigns to work remove or rename the music folder insider the data folder.

Aha, that's why I had no problems, I deleted the music directory since the beginning.

Yesterday I played a 64x64 (across the streams) with no problems whatsover except that when loading a game within a game sometimes the program would quit, but if I quit the game, start it again and load my saved game, it works. So I'm happy at least there is a work around and the game is very playable now, I'm quite happy with it.

I haven't tried a 128x128 game yet.

I also tried this special QVGA version in VGA mode! It works if you edit the preferences2.lua in the wc2 directory and set the mode to (480,640). The game will work, but in a small window on the top left corner of the screen. This is good for vga users who do not want to reset their PPC to switch to QVGA mode.
Regards,
Harry.

thats good news because 96x96 wont load when there is a lot on the map unit wise

128x128 never works

it seems until this issue is fixed 64x64 will have to be good enough

luckily n0p added all the puds from the expantion pack :)

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Didn't work

Postby Dankid31 » May 14, 2005 @ 3:53am

Sadly.... it still didn't work  Hopefully the newer versions will require less memory. The newest executable only requires 16 mb of ram. :D

stratagus

Postby skyyfox » May 18, 2005 @ 8:55am

I can't get stratagus to work. I have copied the executable to my Dell Axim X5 and extracted the warcraft 2 game files and copied them to my device. Does stratagus do anything when it is run? Does it need some command line parameters or something? I have freed up more than 19 megabytes of memory. It still doesn't work. I would really like to play warcraft 2 on my device. If anyone has an idea what is wrong I would love to hear it.
