well, prpgm is more of a rm2000 clone. rmxp tilesets and chipsets will be most likely not compatible.
the rm2000 tilesets (with autotiles) and charsets will be supported.
and at the current version the map editing is almost completely finished. you can create maps of any size, select and change a tileset (with a custom open/save dialog now to use subdirectorys) , edit two layers (only simple pen tool is yet included) , set walkable parts, add/remove/move npc (select animationset from charset, select face direction, change charset), as well as saving/loading of maps - and playing them in the player app. only scripteditor and some database stuff needs some work now. (maybe i will release a first testversion without scripting the next days, once i added map links and some more mapping tools)
and glasswalker, get .net and contact me on icq ok?
mfg
edit: karados:
the same exe will work on both your desktop pc, your pocketpc and your smartphone as its written in .net using the compact framework.
im currently looking into java/j2me to port the player app, i hope to get it running on modern java phones
edit:
i wont use any real forms, but half rendered gui only. for the testrelease ill add a textbased script editor and graphical preview and script testing - till the real editor is finished. so you can try some simple scripts too
and a shot
