Nintendo DS

Postby Bjorn Keizers » Aug 27, 2005 @ 9:05am

I actually got a DS three days ago as well. I was terminally bored and wanted a new toy.

Unfortunately both systems have a huge lack of must-have games at the moment. The main reason I bought a DS was because of the backwards compatibility (I have about 25 GBA games) - it certainly wasn't because of titles like Sprung, Zoo Keeper or Tiger Woods golf.

Same thing with PSP. I want to pick one up next week, but there just aren't any must-haves to make it worth it. I don't feel like dropping 250 Euros just to play Ridge Racer... so I'm probably going to wait until the release of GTA or Gran Turismo to buy the system.

So has the DS's full graphics potentials already been exposed?

The ds is pretty well on par with the n64 as far as I can see. It just lacks texture filtering.
