How do I switch to portrait mode?

Im trying to switch my screen from landscape to portrait on my ipaq, i checked the faq but got a broken link message everytime. When the game starts i tried tapping that little interface on the bottom that comes up before the game loads but got nothin. Can someone help?

In the autoexec.cfg file change "vid_mode" from "1" to "0"

Press the Record button while in landscape to toggle the menu. You can then change Video settings in the Options menu.<br><br>Dan East

How do you change it to landscape mode on a Casio EM-500? I changed vid_defaultmode to 1, but it didn't do anything. In the options, I selected landscape mode right, but then I can't get back to the menu. Help! Thanks.
