Wolfenstein 3D for WinCE!!!

Hmm, I was thinking, with all the "extra" horsepower from having so little to render, maybe a software MIDI synthesizer would be possible. I've been reading up on FM synthesis and it looks fairly straightfoward and not very processor intensive. Ugh. I wish I could code for real.

Actually a MIDI synthesizer exists for PPC, its actually pretty damn good too. You can get it from here (Japanese Site):

http://www.lares.dti.ne.jp/%7Ek-akixx/

The program is called MiMidi.

What would be interesting is to see Descent:Freespace on a PocketPC. Polygons are limited and graphics can be pushed way back in the options screen. I think it would work and be playable, at what quality is still to be determined.

Don't worry Nautica007, I am just now starting to learn C++ and will be learning how to port games. People say Wolfenstein is hard to port, and very time consuming. But I love Wolfenstein, and would work nonstop to make it the best of the best. Plus, PocketHexen will soon be out, so that'll sooth our needs for a little while.

I HAVEN'T THE FOGGIEST IDEA ON HOW TO PORT OR CONVERT GAMES, BUT THIS IS HOW GAMES ARE MADE. PEOPLE DEMAND THEM, PEOPLE BUY THEM. WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT THAT. THIS IS JUST SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. I'M WILLING TO DO ALL I CAN TO HELP SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO DO GET THIS GAME OUT. EVERYONE I KNOW WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT FOR THE POCKET PC. IT IS OUR DESTINY. COME ON PEOPLE, LETS WORK TOGETHER.

P.S.
