deathmatch games, and pak1.pak

deathmatch games, and pak1.pak

Postby Moose or Chuck » Apr 5, 2001 @ 8:16am

its been spread around, but i'vve never seen it all in one place. I want to know what levels i can rip from the pak1.pak to make it smaller. Also how too run deathmatchs with the levels made for ppc, AND where to get the reaper bot, from a link that WORKS others i tried didn't.

That is just astounding.

Apparently some hackers from Russia hacked all the computers of the world and corrupted or deleted ALL the reaperbot files. They were so skillful, they were even able to hack computers that weren't even connected to the internet.

By bouncing waves from a rouge satellite, they were able to hack my PocketPC and dump the reaperbot files.

So I can't even send them to you.

Okay, I admit that all this stuff isn't in "one place" yet. But it takes a little effort on your part to find it. I guarantee I can find the Reaperbot, but I would have to go searching for it.

Once again, instead of making me (or anyone else) type a list of PAK-related items, why don't you look for it. I don't like re-typing the same thing over-and-over, and I don't want to track down the thread that discusses it either.

Chuck, you have been around long enough to know what the hell is going on. You aren't a newbie, so quit acting like it.

i'm not a newbie at c++ or programing, or running PQ on the shareware, BUTTTTT i just got the pak1.pak file today and i'm trying to set it up. And well i'm havin trouble. I'm not god i don't know all. and i looked through the posts. and yes there is information, but its so badly strung out through the board that its largely unhelpful. And the reaperbot website is dead. Every site i went to looking for it just linked to that site so all the links are gone. It's not like quake 1 websites are being constantly updated anymore :/

Yeah, we could post a HOWTO one more time on this thread, and have information even more strewn about.

I downloaded the Reaperbot a short while ago. I agree there aren't many independent Quake websites in full operation any more. So find a LARGE site- like fileplanet.

Or look for a different bot.
