still needs more texture, the room with the grenade launcher should be grey. If you need a texture for it , i guess me or randall can accomidate. Also more guns, the ammo and guns are too sparse.  The lighting is much better :) we just need a duct and more gun placement, fix the hole in the water, its in that room wher you can get the supernailgun and crap. also the hole in the room where you get the grenade launcher, i believe in goldeneye you can fall through that, it'd be nice if we could in this one. the armor in the halway shouuld be red, in goldeneye it was the best armor. also add the secret area in, there is a good tall vent texture in randalls wad  if you can make a wall that doesn't clip, or make it a secret wall u shot thatd be cool. overall its quite good, just  needs the little touches you knwo

I will look for your advices tomorrow. The important is that it´s working fine. I´m still concerned about the textures becouse I wanted to make them different from goldeneye, but uhmm... People dislike the brick walls texture :) ...<br><br>Thanks Chuck. I need sleep now... I´m tired of "working" today... :)<br><br>

Yeah, the brushwork is excellent, Diego. From what I have seen of Complex (the original) it is pretty accurate and the scale is pretty good.<br><br>Texturing and lighting take practice and alot of trial and error. Don't be in a hurry to get this map out- nobody is going to bitch if it comes out in a week ('cept maybe Chuck :) ). Christ, it took me close to three years to get my first map out to the public.<br><br>Texture blending is the way to go with a "tall" map like pQomplex.<br><br>I have a different duct texture that is better than the one I used in Museum. I don't know when I will release that WAD, but if Diego needs it NOW I can send him what I have.<br><br>I am also working on some crusty old textures that may go well with Complex. They are old warehouse type textures- combinations of old rusty metal siding and crusty brick. A lot of old doors and stuff (not that pQomplex uses doors).

i'm not complainin, i'm playin the map righ now, its released, just its 'beta'. and actually diego  the box is kind of fun, if you can get the bots down there its a ball. You should make more spawn points thoug, and make it easier too get the box, maybe a secret entrance that'd be cool. then you could have a big firefight down there :)

Geocities, Angelfire, AOL, among others... crap like that sucks. They promote free webhosting and don't provide shit.<br><br>Don't mean to rip on anyone or their choice of services, but I wish people would quit condoning these companies so they would FINALLY go out of business. (well, I guess AOL will NEVER go away regardless how crappy their service is.)
