Not enough memory free porblems on Jornada 525

Hi,<br><br>I'm trying to run Pocket Quake on a HP jornada 525 with a 32Mb compact flash card.<br><br>I have created the quake\id1 directory on my storage card and copied all the files listed in the readme to the correct directories.<br><br>When I run Pocket Quake I get a message saying 'Not enough memory free, check disk space'<br><br>When I do I have the following memory free:<br><br>Main Memory<br>Storage - 8.41Mb<br>Program - 2.44Mb<br><br>Storage Card - 13.36Mb<br><br>I've tried playing around with the memory settings and I'm not running any other programs.<br><br>Any ideas on how I can get PocketQuake to run??<br><br>cheers,<br><br>Bertie..

you need 10mb of program memory

you need about 7.5 mb free program memory

Paul, it depends from device to device. My PPC needs 10.5mb to run. That´s why I said that it needs to have 10mb, becouse it depends from PPC to PPC. <br><br>Last modification: Diego Cueva - 05/02/01 at 10:06:15

i didnt know that. anyways, he's using a jornada and although its a different version to mine it will most likely need about the same amount of memory

Remember that you need to manually move the memory slider across to give you more running memory before starting Quake, if you don't i won't run..<br><br>7.5 is enough

yeah, if you take it back to <1.5-1.6 megs of prgram storage it snaps back to the centre on my jornada

Try uninstalling a couple programs you don't use often. That should give you enough extra space. Or temporarily delete a few of your MP3s
