well seeing as Karl Marx never had anything to do with the actual structuring of the government in Russain, as he was dead, it would figure that things would change for the worst. Its man's nature instinct to strive to be better than the other. Thats why true socialism would probably never work, even thou it is a cool idea. Why the hell would that statue be moved to the US, and more over, AnyTown USA?<br><br>I guess that's one of the oddities of being rich. I had a friend who's dad was obssesed with obtaining a huge chunk of the berlin wall for his office.  Pffft.<br><br>

Yeah, I remember taking Russian history somehting in my first year, we had to learn about Peter the great and read like an 800 page book and do a report in like a week.  and this was like a 100 level class, what a dick, of course nobody did it and ..mmm.. nevermind.  <br>I kind of like our hick president, it's better than the whiny, bitchy, little brat of a baby that I originally voted for.  What a joke.  Besides, the pres has no power anyway, it had nothing to do with his 'actions' that lost the US HR seat in the UN.  And bring on the drilling, screw the environment, and the cold war wasn't all that bad, it boosted the economy in the end... in fact I think that's their plan in the long run, becuase Reganomics has finally run out due to Clintons wonderful campaign (where HE ALONE single handedly boosted the economy while he was in office, pfshh, yeah right, if anything he did to the help/hurt the economy is going surface, it will start to show now).  Not to get political or anything <br>I like Chris's idea, the hot chicks an all.

999, The statue is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. Just looking at it inspires power and strength. Of course I am speaking about the statue itself and not what it originally symbolized- the former USSR or communism.<br><br>Anyway, to me the statue symbolizes how Capitalism won over Communism in Europe. Every time I look at it, I am reminded of the fall of communism. Much like a piece of the Berlin wall, it is a monument, a trophy and a reminder.<br><br>Seattle is far from "Anytown, USA". Like 3,000 miles I think. <br><br>

LOL. Well, it's kind of funny/ironic because Fremont is a small area in Seattle where the hippies and artists live. Kind of like New Yorks SoHo.<br><br>As you enter Fremont the welcome sign says "Welcome to Fremont- the center of the universe". So I guess Anytown, USA was suitable.<br><br>I just realized a stupid-ass mistake I made. The statue is of Vladimir Lenin, NOT Stalin. I keep confusing the two for some reason. All commies look alike to me <shrug>.

Hey, Ive got 12G and a Lexus, will that help start the island? Plus another 25G when I turn 21 in... 4.5 years. But I get to have compelete immunity because I was the first to donate. And I vote (while waving my 37G's) that we don't let chuck, or any other male on the island, but instead replace all of you with hot chicks. I have a list if that would help ;D
