Help with command lines

Postby Matt Keys » May 9, 2001 @ 5:59pm

Ok, I want to make a capture the flag map on quake. But I am not sure how to change the quake mode to ctf. Like when you want to play deathmatch you type "deathmatch 1" what do you type for ctf?

Thanks,

You need a CTF mod. I don't know of one for Quake right off hand. I think there is one available at idsoftware.com .

Last modification: randall - 05/09/01 at 15:24:40

I found a couple sites with some information about ctf and how to get it working. I also found a mod for a grappling hook, I think I will include it in my next ctf map if it doesnt reduce performence to much.

OMFG, I got ctf working for quake and it kicks ass! I cant wait to get my first CTF map out, it is so similar to quake3 it makes you wonder how much they really changed in the newer quakes;) I should have a good map out in a couple weeks.
